THANK YOU!

We would like to express our delight at the wonderfully large arrangement of golden flowers that St. Marys sent to us this week. What a colourful expression of our Church Family’s love marking the occasion of our Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The reference to Proverbs 31: v. 10-12 was also much appreciated.

Mothering Sunday/ Mothers Union

MAKE A MOTHER'S DAY

There is a leaflet on the table by the door about ethical gifts for Mothering Sunday organised by the Mother's Union. Some members of the congregation have given these in past years in memory of their mother and there may be others who would careto consider the idea.

Revision of the Electoral Roll

The Annual Revision will take place between March 24 and March 30. If you are not on the roll and would like to be included please see Janet Martin or the secretary. Any errors on the current roll, which is on the notice board in the porch, should also be reported to Janet Martin.

The revision will close on March 31 and no names can then be added until after the APCM on April 13.

Election of Churchwardens and Annual parochial Church Meeting.

These will take place in church on Wednesday April 13 at 7.30pm and be followed by refreshments. Both the churchwardens, Hugh Barnes and Roger Mansfield are eligible for re-election. Two representatives are to be elected for the Deanery Synod as Brian Butler and Sue Hunting are both standing down. There are four vacancies on the PCC and those whose terms have come to an end, David Bard, Sally Bard who is deputy churchwarden, and Lyn Chaplin are all eligible for re-election. Sidesmen will be elected and the accounts and annual report for 2010 accepted. There will be reports from PCC committees and other church groups. This is the annual opportunity for those on the electoral roll to raise any matters about which they are concerned.

Proposal forms will be available from the secretary, Mary Dicken.
