On Easter Sunday we would like to decorate the wooden cross and we would like your help please. If you would like to bring a small posy of garden flowers or foliage to church before the 10.30 am service you will able to add them to the cross. For more information please speak to Barbara. Thank you.

ELECTION OF CHURCHWARDENS AND ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING
These meetings were held on Wednesday April 13 in church. Hugh Barnes and Roger Mansfield were reappointed as Churchwardens and Sally Bard as Deputy warden, with thanks to them all for their hard work during the past year. Petra Shakeshaft and Hilary Streeter were elected to serve on the Deanery Synod for three years and David Bard, Sally Bard, Gillian Holt and Suella Hunting to the vacancies on the PCC to serve for 3 years. John Darling,Pauline Finbow, Angela Harradine, Frank Hazeldene,Sue Hunting, Barbara Hylton,Judith Lovell, Janet Marven and Leslie Wratten were appointed as sidesmen. The accounts and annual report for 2010 were accepted and other reports received. A few copies of the reports are available on the table by the door.

THANK YOU!
We would like to express our delight at the wonderfully large arrangement of golden flowers that St. Marys sent to us this week. What a colourful expression of our Church Family’s love marking the occasion of our Golden Wedding Anniversary.
The reference to Proverbs 31: v. 10-12 was also much appreciated.
